Okay dokay m8y blokey.

1. Is there any date on a Haynes manual for the 06 MCS ? I have the Y to 05 copy, but there are differences. Or does anone know of a top secret website were info can be gotten ?

2. OBDII thingy. I have a cable with the OBD2 plug, and I have downloaded various software to try and get things going, but nout, I guess there is an official software, is it possible to buy/steal/send me a copy anywhere ?
Or is it possible to connect thought a simple proggy like hyperterminal.
I did get a CD of a "Friend" with a stack load software, but I didnt get anything to happen.
I have heard talk of CAN, I`m not sure if my OBD2 cable is CAN compatible, does the 06 use CAN CAN (have i mentioned CAN ?) ???
I do do (the CAN CAN) process control systems for a living so I do kinda know what I`m doing......once I`m conected.
Any info or a point in the right direction is much apreciated, I have googled the OBD2 but I just get lots of sites trying to sell me stuff

you must be able to get the software to remap from a friendly mini/bmw tech
