Wish me luck: 2700 Mile Return Trip

I'm picking up my MCS this next weekend after a long (18 month!!) wait. I have a 2700 mile 2 week return trip through some spectacular scenery (Grand and Bryce Canyons, Mojave, Route 66, S & N. Cal, Oregon, and WA coast), and am crossing my fingers I don't run into any teething problems on the way home.

Any sage advice from those who have made similar long trips in their MINI's? Only thing I really wonder about is comfort, since I didn't order cruise control.

very envious - you have one of the best road trips in the world - have driven some of those roads 2 years ago in a 1987 toyota camry! Cooper S is the best!!!

My trip home from the dealer was 2,300 miles with no problems whatsoever. Enjoy the trip and use the cooled glovebox to help keep cold drinks cool.
