hi, i have 2006 MCS...I was wondering if anyone knew about changing the yellow light under the door whenever you open it...im thinkin clear white light or blue light would look tight....anyone have suggestion or info on what kind of light and where to get...please give me some feedback.thanx.

I wish that I had the light under my door... I have a 2004 MCS.

you can, newministuff do a retro fit kit for about £14 and its all OEM!! just bit of a pain to fit!!

You can get "white/blue" bulbs to fit, I think you can pick them up on eBay.

As for fitting to earlier MINIs, it's not that tough, I did it on my old S, before Mikey did the kits, all with OEM stuff.

Im not sure if its the same thing but I have lights under the doors on my Mini ONE called puddle lights, its quite easy to replace the bulbs with differnt colours, the plastic case just pops out. Only porblem is coloured bulbs tend to not be as bright as the OEM ones, but I think some bright white ones would look cool.

cant really put LED in them because they are too directional so get any light output from...tried in my mates MCS the other day... I reckon trying philips bluevision bulbs.
