MCS Final drive

Hi Guys
new member here. I have a 53 plate car and love it but;
am I alone in thinking the final drive is far too high and blunts the cars performance? My previous car was a 280bhp 911 with similar ratios but only 5 speed. I find pulling away quickly hard work and have to use 2nd gear out of roundabouts where a car with the MCS torque figures should be happy in 3rd. Has anyone changed the ratios or final drive and did they find it helped? I don't want more power, just more response.
Thanks

Not sure how to help - However - from July 04 MCS' had gear ratios shortened inorder to help make better use of the power. - The difference is night and day.

Can you do a straight swap with the new gearbox, into a pre facelift MCS.
