Unhappy Beam Low??

Hello people,
My 02 plate MCS has xenons headlights fitted on it and i think they got problems, when i bought the car they were levelling perfectly all was well.

I happened to open the bonnet with the lights switched on once and from then on the beam was pointing high.

Then it went back to normal, then a couple of days later they were up again but now they keep levelling low, too low in my opinion. Ive tried opening the bonnet like i did before but they arent changing.

Has anybody had this problem if so does anybody know the cure to it Any advice would be muchly appreciated.

Thanks
Daz

When I got my 04 S my xenons were set way to low - I had the dealer adjust them under warranty. -- If you are still under warranty have the dealer do it - otherwise maybe a private MINI shop could do it??

Or buy a bentley manual and see if it is a "do it yourself" job???

Good luck

On an '02 car the Xenons are adjustable just like the conventional halogen lights. I believe the Xenons on the face lift cars are non adjustable and can only be adjusted electronically.

It was acceptable in the 80's
