Offline | Dear All, I had a bad day today - my MCS got shoved by a **** in a carpark! To be honest, after my hubby polished the side there is only an inch long scratch and corresponding dent down the side but I wanted to share my rant with anyone else that has been damaged in a carpark and the driver just drives off!!! I am severly p*****d off as I now have a scratch and dent in the side panel which wasn't there this morning and the guy just drove off leaving it looking a total mess!!!! CAN YOU BELIEVE IT?! What is is with people? HAYLEY |

| Affinity to 1320 Autos | I hate it when things like that happen... I had that with my last car and it is so annoying... Shame that most supermarkets don't have CCTV... Some people have no respect for other peoples property... This has happened to me too...I dropped some bits off at my wifes workplace and one of her colleagues put a nice vertical scratch in my door... I HATE PEOPLE THAT DON'T OWN UP... |

Offline | Even worse when it happens in your work car park - then you know its one of your colleagues scratching and denting it and then not owning up. Disgusting behaviour - ours is starting to look like a warzone from the all the dinks and knocks on the black paint. Most upsetting as we can't afford to get them repaired!!!!! |

| MINI2 Regular | Slightly off topic but last week a car smashed into my dads brand new mercedes slk and did over 1k worth of damage. Then sped away. However the next day my dad seen the car phoned in its plates to the police. Something strange happened the police actually did something about it and went to arrest this guy . |

Offline | Sorry to hear that hayley564. A few weeks ago someone caused a chip on my door, which was bad enough. It makes you sick when you look after your car and someone who doesn't give a toss does something like this. |

Offline | It has happened to me too. My blue car was dented from the front wing to the rear by a woman who reversed out by force alone. Fortunately her car was bright yellow. Fortunately one of the trolley boys witnessed the incident, and I was called for over the tannoy. I could hardly believe it when the woman denied all knowledge, despite a 10 foot go slower stripe down the entire length of the car - in bright yellow !!! |

Offline | Did i read the police actually did something minioneandrew? Had that happen to mine. A kind chap took the details and said that he would act as a witness - he even waited half an hour to give me the details. Took it into the local police station and they took all the details and then guess what they did with it.... Nothing other than give me a producer..... Went in after 8 days just to see what would happen as I really felt like an arguement. They cautioned me as it was not within 7 days and then told me that there was nothing they could do as the owner denied doing anything. Needless to say I exploded (not literally) and they thought better of annoying me about the producer. Seems all they care about is speed cameras and donuts..... |
