Offline | The runflat light does come on, along with several others when the ignition is turned on. If the light goes out after 5 seconds then there is nothing to worry about. It's just part of the pre ignition checks. Keep an eye on your tyre pressures though, just to make sure you don't have a slow puncture, just to be on the safe side . |

| Giggity-goo! | The runflat light will probably come on again in a few weeks time if you have a slow puncture. Next time it does check all your pressures to see which one is down. Get the tyre repaired or changed and then press the button under the handbrake to reset the system. ![]() |

| MCS | having atm the same problem with the run flat tyre light and i was a bit of worry (as this is my first car i own and im 18)but i took it today to the Mini service and they showed me my front tires that are in very bad condition and i shouldnt go fast until i change them. I used to underestimate the need of that warning light in cars but now i can see how important that light is, as it can save u from a car crash!! MINI COOPER S POWWWERR A car like no other...... |

Offline | Your runflat light will have come on because of a lack of air in one of your tyres, and not because of a lack of tread on your front tyres. The reason for having a runflat light is because, you can't tell if a tyre is going down due to the tyre sidewalls being very stiff. A half flat tyre will look exactly the same as a fully inflated tyre. |
