Hi Guys, just to let you know we can now supply the GTT Cold Ram Kit in various colours .As you know they normally come in anodised light blue, but are now available in powder coat too.
The colours include ...Dark Blue, Red, Yellow, Black, Silver, Green and more. Powder coat is very tough.
They are produced to special order at a premium of £12+vat extra. Turnaround is very fast; typically 3 days.

Is it possible to coat selective areas of the rear brake rotors in black?
...or will it not tollerate high temps?
...and/or not able to coat some parts and not others for a single item?

It's just that the rotor edge and and rotor inner part (near the wheel) always rust badly. I've seen these coated before, in grey (as on the AP rotors).

Hi ant, A lid is not required, the lining of the bonnet acts as the lid. Most people (not all I suppose) like to see the air filter element. Remember its not the same as the stock box ,with the GTT item even if there were a gap at the top no dirt can ever enter the engine (all air is filtered). Our kit uses a double skin on the side to the hot manifold therefore it will always shield heat away better than a single skin design (eg Alta). A hole in the lid of the stock airbox would allow dirt to enter therefore this has to have a lid.

i was only after as i am one of those wierdo's who prefers the engine bay and car to look as stock as possible. maybe i'm getting old......lol

I'll stick to the Hybrid in the modded jcw box i think, only 5 weeks to go now
