mcs exhaust tips ive had fitted

got these fitted today by one of the lads at powerflow. £60

they had to replace the pipes coming out of the back box to get them low enough as they are quiet high up and long when the original mcs tips are removed.

Very nice looking, have you got a photo zoomed out a bit further? Did they take much persuation to do it? Was it using stock parts? Would there be anywhere near me that would be able to do it? Live in Sevenoaks, kent.

Cheers

not got any other photos, will try and get round to taking some for ya mate.

The original plan was to remove the old tips and weld on some new ones, but we found the exhaust pipes with the tips removed point down so it would have looked rubbish.

The pipes that come out of the backbox were removed and replaced with stainless steel ones to ensure they would be the correct length and point perfectly straight out ready for my choice of tips. Was going to have a large oval to fit the bumpers cut out but changed my mind for what you see above.

only took about an hour and thats will talking and cups of tea etc haha!!

try searching for a tg dealer on Topgear Alloy Wheels & Performance Car Parts

hope this helps

Looks nice but I do have a question

I though that powerflow only could produce systems with crush bending equipment? so if they have replaced the outlay pipes how have they managed to get them as tight as required with over crushing a reducing the flow? this is the same case with the one ball system! when GTT produce the one ball they use mandrell bends thus not reducing the flow.

I am interested to hear what form of bending they have, I know torque flow in birmingham will replace the tips for that or just less but again if they change the end pipes they will be crush... well let us know what method they used.

By the way not a bad price considering the average tip price is £20-£25 so you did do well

to be honest im not sure what method they used, was a small red machine, which bent the pipes to shape the other ones like something ive seen while watching discovery channel, the pipes where held in place with like semi circle blocks about 6 inchs long on either side then the machine moved round at the pipes had bends, thats the best i can tell you on the method mate.

they look exacally the same as the stock pipes but slightly thicker.

any ideas what this was then?
