Offline | Joining the S club - help with some questions please.. Hi all, Will have my (2005/13k) 1st gen S in the next couple of weeks and promise to post lots of pics as soon as I've had it all detailed inside and out.. Its 1 previous owner is a nutter (in the nicest possible way) and the only option that wasn't ordered on this car is the Recaro's - seriously it has ever other option even down to the runflat insurance etc. I doubt I will ever sell this car - it's to be the start of my collection and will hopefully share a heated garage with an 80's 911 a few years from now. My dealership is aware of the purchase and my beloved tech "Mick" will be taking care of the S. First thing I will do is pay to have a Cherished "style" inspection done just for piece of mind along with a wheel alignment etc. BMW TSB's are no longer available on the Alldata site so I'm just wondering if anyone can email them, or has some other access to this info etc. I do recall there being an improved flywheel assembly around early 2005 for the S. Even if someone just has this info off the top of their head it would be very useful - i.e. here's the following 5 things I had done, they all worked well. Every TSB issued for my Cooper has been done, my dealership are totally cool with the whole "in the event of customer complaint" - I just have to ask and they do the work. Any help in regards to this info would be really appreciated. Cheers, Geoff. |

Offline | Hi all.. C'mon guys, no one has any BMW TSB information? No one has had any warranty work done that they were advised was due to a TSB? I've given in to the "gotta have a SuperCharger" ideal that you all seem to be so eager to push onto mere Cooper owners.. ![]() Is there some other thing I have to do? Like passing a test or an initiation perhaps, period of shame for my Cooper ownership etc? Cheers, Geoff. |

Offline | Huh...... Oh get it together Mini enthusiasts.. TSB? Temperamental Sports BMW made vehicle...... Still, am I bovvered? Anything goes wrong on the new S and I can put on a Ricky Gervais face wiggle my finger around and say something along the lines of: "Every optional extra bar the Recaro's that.....they likely never made another one like it........and if you haven't already noticed, it's mine"... Cheers, Geoff ![]() |

Offline | Yeah.. Sorry about that, I did shake her hand once and have a rather pleasant chat, but that's the best I can offer.. Yes, she's tiny and yes, she's cute as hell. ![]() |
