Soft Clutch

I fiond my current clutch quite stiff, is there anyway I can have it adjusted to make the clutch press feel softer? Its just in traffic jams my knee starts hurting.

Any advise would be welcome.

Clutch pedal feel often gets harder with age and wear (as it is in my Alfa). In my 53 MCS with 64K on th clock its still light. I be surprised if its going hard at this low age/mileage unless its had a really hard time. Might be worth getting a dealer to have a look and see if they think its normal??

The clutch release bearing is probably already worn out. Get the dealer to install the newly updated clutch kit and improved dual mass flywheel (Part of the kit) under warranty.

Compared to my wife's manual Mk5 GTI, driving the MINI is like doing weights with every gear change.

Mini said my clutch is ok and basically I felt like a little weak man. However, I think its a little pants. When selecting reverse, its is quite an effort to push the knob to the left.

Carazy gearbox/clutch if you ask me. My fair lady struggles and when im in the passenger seat she asks me to put it into reverse for her!

Does this sound normal?

Many thanks for your information and the time your taking to read this.
