Offline | Best Induction kit for Cooper S? I've had my cooper S for just over a month now and want to add an air induction kit. Are there any that you guys would recommend or likewise any that you would avoid? What are your experiences with them and which would you recommend if any? Are they worth adding? what's the performance benefit? Cheers! Benj ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Alta and GTT induction kits seem to be the most popular. Alta available from Lohen (as well as others) GTT Tuning Cooper S Hyper Blue - GTT/GRS/Speedline/KW |

Offline | Bought an K&N 57i, added to S and, What a difference!! OK so the OEM filter was well past its day. For less than 100quid, it provides smooth trottle, low down grunt and screems like a banchee! ( OVER 4000 ) , seems to have added alittle more pop po bang too from the std exhaust. nearly forgot! getting 4MPG more according to the OBC. |

Offline | Thanks for all the posts! Certainly a lot for me to think about. Has anyone had experience with a Pipercross Induction Kit? It seems to be a budget one but have read several good reviews... Cheers! |

Offline | May be a bit late now with a reply to this bt ive got a pipercross on my MC and it sounds awesome once you hit the 4000 to 6000 rpm range the sound is heavenly. I live in sevenoaks and the highstreet is split into two streets a couple of weeks after i got the air filter i was driving home and my friend rang me up (having already heard my car with the filter on) and said "you jst went through town didnt you". He actually heard me driving home from the other side of the town! ![]() |

Offline | One thing that I was expecting was induction roar when I put my gtt filter on. There isn't any, it just sounds like the standard filter just a lot louder, you can really hear the charger screaming now I have noticed that I have lost about 5mpg but that may be due to me holding the gears longer |
