HI I am new to the cooper family and to mini 2 i have noticed that you are all very helpfull and like to ask a few question please.
Can i clean the intercooler at all
my sterring stopped today and was wondering if there were any clues to this, when i restarted the car it was fine again.
i can put regular tires on the car instead of run flats right
thats really it thanks in advance

Hello and welcome to MINI2

Not sure about the intercooler, do you mean on the outside or inside??
The Power steering is known to fail and this is a common problem as far as i know and your symtoms seem to be the start of it, id have it checked imediately as if it fails on a turn you could end up in a head on crash!

And you can put any tyre you want on the MINI but you need to think of what you will need to carry in the boot i.e, Tyre weld and a compressor incase you have a punture!
