| MINI2 Master | much difference between early and face lift Xenons? i was wondering as i am always moaning about how low my 2002 xenons are, loads of light on the floor byt not enough up ahead. So wondered are the facelifted Xenons any better as may try to source some off ebay. |

Offline | When you say that there is lots of light down low, is this after the lights "auto-level"? My Xenons start low when they come on then immediately scan up to a position which gives great coverage down the road. Perhaps you should get your auto-levelling checked out.. If you know how many MINIs you have you don't have enough ... |

Offline | My 04.04 MCS has the original xenon style and I actually reckon they're better than the newer style. From the limited time I've spent behind the wheel of an 05 MCS with xenons I find mine have a much softer cut off and actually shine a bit further up the road. Are you sure yours are aimed correctly??? ![]() |

Offline | My current facelift R53 Xenons are the best headlamps I've ever had, by a huge margin (even when compared to other Xenons). But, as others have said, get the aligment sorted ASAP as it sounds like that's your most likely problem. Tigger. Such a shame after 4 otherwise very happy years on here If you are a friend, I can always be contacted here! |

| MINI2 Master | Yeah, i have'nt them checked yet, is it only BmW who can play with em, or cn any mot test centre with beam calibration units do em. Its gutting as i had retro fit Xenons on my old ibiza and they were amazing at night, where as these look good but just don't light up amzingly, remind me of my old Golf Mk4 which was also *****. Will get em checked then. But i kinda prefer the look of the facelift ones too, i think i have a xenon fetish.....lol But they seem to have dried up on ebay again, few months back there were tonnes on there, same with bloody 3-spoke steering wheels. Thanks for help |
