heated front screen

got heated front screen, it turns it self off after three mins.
the rear one stays on till i turn it off.
is this right, i have not noticed if this was normal, or a recent fault.
three mins is usually enough to clear so just wondered.

IIRC this is normal. The rear screen temperature drops after 3 mins but remains on.
It was acceptable in the 80's
