fitting new xenon bulbs

does anybody know how easy it is to swap the old xenon bulbs to new ones. i have just bought some 6000k brighter bulbs for my pre-facelift mini cooper s, and was wondering how easy these are to fit, or will i need to get them fitted by a pro.????

I think there's a thread somewhere discussing moving to a different temperature bulb. Not sure where though.

Not very many have upgraded their Xenon bulbs as most of us are probably pretty happy with them as they are.....

Good luck with it.

PS....do NOT touch the bulb with your fingers. The oils on your skin will burn out the bulb. The same goes for the halogen bulbs too.

They are easy to change. Unplug the connector, remove the wire latch and the bulb comes right out. Do be careful not to touch the bulbs as stated the oil from your skin will cause them to burn out. I always wipe them with denatured alcohol just to cover my butt. You never know what might have taken place during the packing.
