What do you all think of this?

Hi all,

I went and test drove this car at the weekend. I really liked it and left a deposit today. It has a bad stone chip on the bonnet and a slightly curbed alloy, both of which the dealer is repairing prior to collection.

I was gonna hold out for a car with full leather, heated seats and auto air con but they just don't seem that common

It does have an aftermarket Sony single head unit and a six disk changer also.

Welcome to John Clark Tayside authorised MINI dealership

Its the cooper S at £12995 in Dark silver.

Would appreciate everyones thoughts?

Personally I think you can get a car with lower mileage for a little bit more.

Thanks for your thoughts guys I really don't want to go much more than £13000 really as it pushing my budget as is.

I also have a trade in which means private sales are out of the question really. I am gonna have another look around just to be sure. Would prefer buying from Mini/BMW as well.

Anyone have any thoughts on the Bonnet being repaired? I know that car dealers sometimes have to repair brand new cars and don't even tell the new owner!

The alloy is neither here nor there to me as its only one and has obviously been a one of slight accident rather than neglect and they are easily fixed nowadays

I agree with a bit of searching you will get a lower example for the same price,

i paid £13 495 and got 04 plate with full cordobra beige leather, MFSW, aerokit, Bullet alloys, spot lights and what ever else lol and that had 19k on the clock.

Id say get a lower milage example or get that one down to £12 500

Scott

EDIT this was nearly a year ago.

Id say it was a little over priced, try and get something knocked off it mate,, know the stealers are always £1500 - £2000 more than private cars..
