Im looking at buying a 2005 S chilli. Is there one standard for the chilli pack?

just wanted to find out what comes in it.

I saw one guy who had a chilli and it had all sorts of cool things (rain sensor ect).

I think the rain sensing wipers are an additional extra, not part of the Chili Pack. I'm not sure what was standard in 2005 as mine is a 2007.

well my mini cooper s 2002 has got the following extras as its got the chilli pack but its got a few additional extras so my mistake if ive missed a few or theres a few extra

Half leathers
Interior lights pack
Nice Carpet Mats
Different Seat Adjustment Functions
AC
Interior Storage Pack
Xenon Lights, With Washers

Also got Heated Mirrors Dont know if there with that pack
ASC or somthing like that havnt got the car here to check

I'm not sure the Chili Pack is the same in all countries ... there is no such thing here in the US.

Xenon Headlights with the headlight washers

I have an early 06 price list, and chili is listed (for the old shape model ie convertible) as
alloy wheel upgrade
cloth/leather
front fogs
height adj pass seat

manual a/c on the cooper s only
on board computer

sports suspension
storage compartment pack
floor mats
xenons with power wash and auto level control
lsd on manual cooper s
There was also a visibility pack that included rain sensor for the wipers, heated screen, auto rear mirror dip and auto headlights - an extra £220, or just mirror dip at £85, or just rain sensor and auto lights at £85.
Mindblowing.
The above applies to our 55 reg convertible, so *may* be correct for all 2005 models.
Only safe way of knowing what's what is to buy an old brochure from the corrrect year off ebay - I was told some real rubbish concerning options ("wind deflector was £400 guv" etc... )

Yeah, I think that's about it.

The Chilli pack wasn't available in Australia until the MY05 model change. My pre-chilli model (April 04 build) almost has the same options, save the wheels (I had aftermarket wheels waiting before my car arrived) and I have DSC instead of HK.

To the OP, also keep in mind, that all Australian spec Cooper Ss from January 05 build onwards have a limited slip diff.
