Question Brake Pad light on dash??

Evening All.....

Basically my yellow brake pad light has come on today on my dash and wondered if anyone else had experienced this problem??

Has anyone had a quote from MINI or any other garages as to how much it'll cost to fix or how damaging itll be to drive on until it gets sorted

Would be good to get some feedback before diving into a garage and paying all sorts

Thanks to advise

I'm getting mine done next week but at an independant garage...my lights been on a week, but can't get it to a garage before then! I'm assuming the sensor light will come on when there's still *some* brake pad left so it's not leaving you grinding on the disc!! I'm not too worried, put it that way!!

ALTHOUGH SHE NEEDS A BIT OF GUIDANCE, LESLEY WILL BE MY BIATCH FOR NOW...!

Won't do any damage driving while the light is on, just means that your pads had reached low level. I replaced mine myself, bought front set of pads +sensor for about £40-50 from bmw dealer. Not a hard job really

James

p.s bmw wil prob charge £100 labour
