Offline | S/C belt tensioner Does anyone know what modifications were made to the R53 belt tensioner? My 03 MCS with just 38K on the clock has just started making the dreaded 'sewing machine' noise when under load at 3-4000rpm. The belt tensioner seemed to have been labelled as the culprit in previous threads but my local Stealer (Sytner) reckon the noise is normal. ![]() Thanks http://www.mini2.com/forum/faults-fi...g-noise-2.html Richard ( I have a MCS too) |
