Need wheel advice

I'm planning to purchase a set of wheels for my 2003 MINI Cooper S, dark grey and black roof.

I desperately need advice, I like the 18"OZ Superturismo GT or 18"OZ Ultraleggera. Which wheels would you suggest and why?

Thanks a ton for all your help in advance

Ultraleggera for me as they do a graphite/grey finish... will look good against your grey car/black roof.. i gone for grey alloys on my grey/black MCS... sets it of nicely...

This was my solution, albeit I went 17" as I don't think the Mini needs 18s.

Absolutely agreed, it looks really good.

Don't get me wrong, I think 18s look fine on a Mini but I also think 17s look fine as well (in some styles better and in others not so good as 18s I'd bet), but the bigger the wheel the heavier the wheel (obviously some 18s are lighter than some 17s, but in any given style the 17" is lighter than the 18", mainly because the tyres are lighter) and as most people on here know unsprung weight is the worst weight. Also a bigger rim makes the brakes look even smaller (assuming no BBK of course).

Ultimately horses for courses - I bought my Mini for its handling and I wanted to improve that with some light (my Rotas are comparable to OZs) wheels with conventional tyres that looked fine in terms of size. I doubt it would handle better on 18s and I'm happy with the looks on 17s, but I'd also be happy to have it look like yours.
