| MINI2 Newbie | my new cooper s so here she is. this is the little beast that the wife and I have bought and i am more than impressed with it. can someone explain the wheels to me, what are they. She is completely standard and pretty much has nothing on her in the sense of packs but i love her anyway. the wife loves it and it was the best mini for our price range which is why we bought her. 58k miles 52 plate for £7350 from dealer. As i said in a previous post we had to trade in our old car which is why we went with a dealer. bal |

| MINI2 Newbie | put it like this ... iv owned some fast mitsubishis, an octavia rs and driven many half decent cars but i fully understand why everyones loves these new minis. since i sold my last mitsubishi vr4 iv been trying to find a car that will put a smile on my face like that thing did and finally i think i've found it. i love everything about it and i believe that this is one of the best balanced cars iv ever driven. the power delivery, handling, looks ... everything is spot on. that supercharger mmmmmm i dream about it hahaha. so yes i love it problem is that iv modded every car iv owned and as this is the wifes car and not mine (1 car family) im trying to resit the urges to mod. any hints on basic modes to improve torque are appreciated. i dont want anything drastic just a bit more power, but then iv started havent i. once your start you just cant help yourself. maybe i'll just sort out the soundsystem. anyways best decision we've made getting one and we've already decided a JCW or similiar will be number 2. bal |

| MINI2 Regular | welcome looks great nice colour my second choice! As for upping the power you could go for a 15% pully but then you might want to think about a intercooler! anyhow it wont make the car louder or effect the car in anyway just in turms of smooth power you can see near 200hp with them two mods,im new to this so im sure others will help you out too.. enjoy i sure am! ![]() |

Offline | Nice car! Modding a MNI is like a disease.. once you have started it virtually impossible to stop dreaming of something else you want... still means you don't struggle when writing to Santa! ![]() |
