![]() :: S Lovin :: | Cheers people ![]() I think it already has the heavily modded look, despite the fact the only major thing I've done is fit my wheels... they do suit it well though imo. I took the car in to Sytners this evening, as the air bypass valve broke the other week. It was pretty scary as the car died and had to be restarted etc.. since then its been feeling really low on power. It was quickly diagnosed by the guys at Lohen this weekend, I just hope Sytners have got the part in stock!! I'm apparantly going to get a progress report phonecall tomorrow.. hopefully to say that its fixed.. fingers crossed!! ![]() Here are some more pics, which show the black rear 'S' and my pinstriping of the vipers.. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | looks great.. i really like the aero side skirts and the black wheels. Somehow black wheels seem suited to minis. They can look a bit boy racerish on novas and civics! Good choice of colour too although i've heard that a black roof makes it go quicker ![]() |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Cheers mate ![]() My wheels are 17 inch BSA Warriors, in my opinion they suit the MINI really well.. and weren't toooo expensive either. Smoking the rear reflectors sounds like a possibility! I'm reallllly not a fan of them, everything else on the exterior is either black or silver, I feel they let it down.... They do give my car an amusement factor I think though lol... EEwwww look at them etc.. ![]() ![]() If funds allowed it, I would love to go the carbon fibre route. I think the next mod on my list is a strut brace though, for both the handling gains and the cool looks under the bonnet ![]() |

Offline | Does look good. Again not a fan of the reflectors, nor the clear rears that make them necessary TBH. I think it would look more aggressive with the black stickers in the front fog surrounds; ludicrously expensive for what they are, but they make a big difference to the aero front. |

![]() :: S Lovin :: | Cheers Fen ![]() Yeah, the rear lights aren't to everyones taste.. my dad for one doesn't like them. Whenever he says anything though I just take the mick about the 'Lexus' lights he's fitted to his car ![]() I wish the reflectors had just been stuck on, as then I could have taken them off no problem ![]() I know what you mean about the fog light surround stickers! I can't really understand why they were never fitted as standard from new, as they do finish the bumper off. Saying that though, since taking the stickers off the rear aero bumper (pic below) I might leave the front as it is and keep a 'clean' look. ![]() Other than that, if all goes to plan, I shall have a new under bonnet mod tonight I might not get it fitted 'till the weekend though![]() |

Offline | Dude, well impressed with your S. Looks fantastic, the wheels really suit it. Wish my wallet stretched to the insurance for the S. I've test driven the R56S, its huge fun! Hopefully this one will last a bit longer than the ONE! Still, Im Very jealous! Brian. |

Offline | I hear what you're saying on the sticker removal, but I think it makes the bumper look unfinished. I've posted these pics here before, but this is what mine looks like with the black fog light foils and some black/grey Mini Pirate stickers in the rear bumper - I think yours would look superb with similar treatment. ![]() ![]() I need to get it out in this lovely Kiwi sunshine now I have it here and take some more pics. It's amazing the difference a white rear plate has made over the yellow UK one. |
