When I was looking I liked all three colours. Flat red paint has a reputation for fading, something as an owner of a Mugello Red M3 I knew about so it was a straight choice between leky blue and dark silver. No prizes for which I went for .

Some people are like a Slinky ........ not really good for anything, but you still can't help
but smile when you shove them down the stairs

I think with the MINIs, you have in mind what colours you like but then you need to also match the spec, which can sway it one way or the other.

I like all three also, as well as others, I liked the DS back then but now I prefer the EB as it's a little rarer than the DS, In My Opinion, so I ended up with a Chili Red one (that's just what turned up with the right spec for me at the time ) .

Never had one in EB but there's time yet .

My mate wanted CR and he's got DS .

Mine's the one on the left.

I had a CR cooper, was looking for a CR S basiccaly the same as the cooper but ended with 2 DS S's. I also felt it was a time for different after all my cars had been red.

My current one I wouldn't want to change due to condition and spec.

DS suits me better as I use the car for work and its more mature looking until I start the engine.

Electric Blue is a fantastic colour! So few cars would ever look good with that colour. Even looks good if you go with a white roof or black roof etc.

My second favorite colour is that burnt orange with black. Shame its only on the cab.

I was going to get a leccy blue S, but the war dept did not approve, but she liked the black one parked next to it! So i bought that instead. Did not discuss the the thunder blue GP with her for fear of refusal! Just bought it!

When we part exchanged our EB S for a Clubman DS, the dealer had 2 EB,s for sale, they didn't get the price they wanted for them, had to lower price but both EB's sold, was watching them on there web site.

I am biased:

The only colour combo I would avoid is Dark Silver with a white roof. It just looks...odd.

Venting my spleen here

I love my Nazi (as it's known at work) Grey S, the only colour i would have over it would be Chili Red with a black roof, just so it would match my VX220

No no and no... Chili Red has nothing in common with such uglies reds like the ones from Peugeot, Renault, and BMW

Exactly the same story and still a bit of nostalgia when I see some Chili Red...

DG is one of the most popular colours and also holds it's value the best. Yellow has a major effect on the resale value, followed by EB.

One man's beautiful colour is another's ugly.

I didn't order a shade of blue because I thought it would be a common Clubman series color.
