Hey
Just got a 05 S Chilli 3 weeks ago. Last time I filled up on fuel the range on the computer said 490 kilometers (305 miles). I managed to get 420 kilometers (260 miles) out off the full tank after some light heavy driving.

Tonight after I filled up (to a full tank) it said 410 kilometers (255 miles) on the range. Really quite weird.

Any ideas and could you tell me what sort of range you get out of a tank.

I think it calculates the predicted range based on the recent driving-style that's been used.

I've noticed my range in my ONE changes depending on whether I've done a lot of town / country / motorway driving.

I drive a 2006 Cooper S. On my last tank I got 340 miles from mostly motorway driving.

This tank will be much less because of short runs in town.

For some reason the supercharger whine is just as enticing about town as it is on the open road.

problem solved. been driving it very soft with no revs over 3000. done 30km and range still at 410 kilometers (255 miles). good news.

i get 600-750 depending on whether i feel like acting my age (teen) at the momment, max i have ever gotten is 920km a tank all highway driving, refueled with 2km togo, the car wasnt idling to well
