Offline | discount hi there, its about time my mother had a new car and id like another mini on the drive. ![]() shes got a 2001 5 series auto se with 51k at the moment which she'll probably be part chopping. So she will want an auto with a very high spec. just wondering what is the best discount anyone has got off r56 cooper s auto? by my reckoning after adding auto, chilli pack, aerokit, leather lounge, pan roof, bluetooth and driving lamps, the car comes to about 22 thousand. |

| all good things....... | Best bet is to remember that although one dealer will say there is no discount, this based upon the fact that they think you are only interested in a MINI, they need reminding that there isn't just the one MINI dealer out there, so shop around, get prices and deals from say 3 dealers and work them off against each other. But the best place to buy a MINI is Derek Woodmans, I always go there, as the service levels are worth the journey from the South ![]() Food rule fanatic ![]() |

| Supercharger Noiseaholic | They might give you a staggering discount, but it will be at the cost of a poor trade in for your current car. Your best bet will be to sell yours privately, then go to them and order one near the end of the month and you're more likely to get money off as the salesmen will want comission and they might not have hit their rebate quota. The other thing to do although morally corrupt is order it on MINI finance as they'll discount it then because of the kick-back they get from the finance company, then you settle it at the first payment. Make sure you check the Ts & Cs on that last part, i've done it on other cars as they only charge interest after the first payment, others may charge an early settlement fee or another form of penalty. |
