Goodbye Electric Blue - Hello Dark Silver

Really wanted a sunroof when I got my EB, unfortunately, I didn't want to wait. Fortunately, a DS MCS turned up at Tate MINI in Annapolis, with convenience package (sunroof, computer, etc.) and sport package. Snagged it, and now toying with the idea of keeping both MINIs or selling my WRX and my EB MINI. It's currently at a broker who is trying to sell it for me.

Thoughts, feedback? Am I crazy?

Coincidently, the DS MINI I've purchased seems to have much better fit and finish, no squeeking seats, no coolant resevoir leak and better bumper/hood alignment.

Cheers!

Kurt

Welcome to the Dark Side Kurt. Search your feelings Kurt you know its true.. The DS MCS is much better, but hey thats my opinion. It seems to me that it has a more classier look than the EB.

Ditto that, Mugami! Dark Silver rules; much more class too.

MUCH more exclusive as well. Every other Buick in America is dark silver! In fact, seems like 25% of every car in America is dark silver.

I started out wanting it DS. It came down to ordering and waiting an ungodly amount of time or taking an EB right now.

I'm happy with my choice! I've gotten twice as many compliments on the blue then a friend has on his DS!

I like EB, but I LOVE DS! I was toying about whether to get an all CR or DS Cooper S to replace my CR/white Cooper. I decided on the DS/DS as it is a very classy car and it blends in more with traffic. I like the look of the CR/CR and EB/EB, but I didn't want to stick out anymore, sepecially for our local constabulary.

We almost went with solid black, but decided on DS/B. There are many other silver cars on the road, but the Buick drivers aren't having near as much fun

Talking Sell them both...

And get that truly great combo: Red/Black!

Keep the WRX for when there's too much snow and salt on the road to drive your beautiful MINI.

I'm pretty much in the same boat here. I initially started out planning to order DS but have since then changed that to EB. I still have a long ways to go before the time comes to order (next June). Still undecided between the two.

Be daring, be different, be electric blue!

Check out this link from aol.

Seems like everyone loves silver.

BTW, I asked my wife what she thought of a picture of a ds/ds and she said that it looked like a spaceship.

That's a good enough reason for me to go with a different color.

Might have been. I thought it looked pretty awesome myself. I was even leaning toward the dark side, but thank God it's apparently too late to change my order and I don't have to think about it anymore.

DS or EB? Hmmmm.....

I just so happen to have a picture of my DS/W MCS next to an EB Mini. You decide.
