Offline | You just MIGHT break 1200 along the way (right?), so be patient. ![]() Shred the law outside your homestate and pray it escapes the nose of your insurance co. when you get nailed! May you not even be. Once broken, slowly approach the redline, keep it real (between 4-6k rpm) and stay the hell off the freeways! Is Canyo de Chelley on the way??? Why those are some pics I would LOVE to see with a gorgewous S in m. I envy you your virgin voyage. Be righteous, and the baby you pull into your drive will be one sweet call girl (risky business)... Or one ***** of a dog... ![]() NY/NE Mod |

Offline | I got it! I just got home. A little over 800 miles in two days. Under 90? I don't think so. I didn't go over 4500 rpm and kept it under 4k most of the time. By the way 4500= 110mph in 6th gear! The car is everything I hoped it would be. Stay tuned we did get pictures I'll post them and a discription of the trip. |

Offline | Stone Chips I've thought about doing the clear film but have hear that it doesn't always work out well on the front of the Mini's because of all the contours. I think for now I'll just us a good paint protectant, I've heard that Zaino works better than wax, really shines and is easy to apply. I ordered some we'll see how well it works. |

Offline | Mini S I put a deposit on the car in April ( Scottsdale wasn't open that's why I went to Salt Lake.) I ordered the car the way I wanted. I didn't trade anything in, I sold my old car through Auto Trader. I figured the dealer wouldn't want to give me much for it on a trade. |

| MINI2 Regular | Not Likely, I have been on the list since June and they have been pretty good about sticking to that list. However I have been told that as far as wait times go, Utah has one of the shortest. The require 2 grand as a deposit to get on the list. The waits over!! Frosted the Mini Cooper S arrived 11/05/02!!! |

| MINI2 Regular | Nope, actually I was in line for a DS/W with an anticipated November build. When they called me in Septemeber to tell me to finalize my build spec I switched to Indi Blue. You could always give em a call. A rather attractive young gal by the name of Debbie Horton would be happy to assist you. The waits over!! Frosted the Mini Cooper S arrived 11/05/02!!! |
