Picked up my DS/b MCS yesterday! So far no squeeks or rattles as of yet. However there is one fault. It was inevitable i guess. My airbag light will not turn off. It was like this when I left the dealer. Initially thinking that this was normal I didn't say anything. After getting home and reading the manual I can now see it is a fault. I've read somewhere that it had something to do with the wiring connectors under the seats. Have an appointment in a couple of weeks to get it taken care of. Other than that the car is a blast to drive. Will post some pics as soon as I borrow my friend's digi cam.

Sorry for taking so long to post pics. Was finally able to borrow my friends digi cam. Please see my gallery for the rest of the pics. Gave her a good wash and wax this morning. It was a really nice day for a ride after the humid rainy weather we've been having all week. Couldn't think of any places to take a Magnum P.I. shot for you OnlyS4me. But I did take a couple in front of "Hawaii 5-0 Headquarters".

congrats on the new car -- my airbag light came on about 4 days after I picked up my S. A simple trip to the dealer and they fixed some connectors under the seat and all has been happy since.

I had the warning light come on in my Cooper. It was also the wire (or maybe a connection of the wire). Dealer sorted it. Hope you are enjoying the car. I get mine this week. Car is there already and I rushed around at the weekend to get the insurance cover note for the registration, but the X-lites are not there - I wanted them rather than the 17 inch wheels that come with the chili pack. I'm hanging by the phone and hoping there won't be too many conference calls with customers today ....

In your set of photos there is a pic with a black mini with a metal bumper guard on the front. Any idea where to get one of these? or just any info on that specific car. I really like the look of it.

There is no official MINI group/club in Hawaii, but from the BMW CCA side, we welcome them. Plus, the CCA membership gets you a discount on MINI parts and gear at the dealer.
