fantastic. everything i'd hoped for and more. this is going to be a lot of fun. having front sides and rear window tinted today then off for a dam good drive. thanks to all on mini2 who kept me sane during the long wait. it was definitely worth it.

In DS/DS & from the angle of the photo I find it quite reminiscent of Aston Martins or Austin’s Healy's - family resemblance & British influence intact on the MCS.

Congrats ! I am hanging by the phone waiting for the dealer to call. They have the S, and I rushed around like an idiot at the weekend to get the insurance sorted, but they had forgotten about my special request regarding wheels. I just hope they take delivery of the X-lites today. I can't stand it much longer. I am even considering showing up with the winter/snow wheels/tyres from my Cooper in order to get my hands on it earlier.

thanks for all he good vibes all. i'm so glad i went for the ds roof in the end, it gives the car such a class and purposeful look. i'm off to pick it up from pentagon (window tinters) in a mo. feels like i'm getting it for the first time all over again (only had it for two hours yesterday; 15 miles).

now when's the weather going to clear up so i can give it a serious clean... and get those 1200 miles in the bag. off to cornwall (600 mile round trip) tomorrow.

one week. 900 miles. one very happy owner! had the windows (front side and rear) done to match factory rears (at Pentagon alongside lambos, range rovers, etc.) and then headed off to cornwall for some fun on the twisty roads down there. only 300 miles to go before it gets even better. this is a great car.
