Offline | Black Wheels on Yellow/Black MCS Has anyone put black wheels on a Yellow/Black MCS? I have been thinking about having the wheels powdercoated black but would really like to see what it would look like before I did it. I've still got plenty of time to think about it since mine won't be here till near the end of the year. Ron |

Offline | I agree. Yellow, black, and black is a striking combo. The first time I saw a Y/B on the dealer lot I eyed it up and down like a beautiful lady. As my eyes made their way to the car's nether-regions, I recall wincing in pain at the clashing silver wheels and saying to myself "ouch, MINI really needs to offer a black wheel option. What a buzz-kill." Me? I had another beautiful lady to consider, so red, white, and white is our cheery scheme. |

Offline | Haha.. I might consider that for my BRG/B. It's a good way to not have to worry about break dust! ![]() If that's what you end up doing res (just painting the original silver rims), let me know how much it ran you. That'd be a helluva nice mod! ![]() |

Offline | Once I get it finished I'll post some pics. I am intending on having the original 17" S-Lites professionally powder coated. I'm still doing some research on what will be the most durable and best looking. ![]() Thanks again, Ron |
