| MINI2 Master | I wouldnt mind seeing every colour available on a row of Cooper S's side by side. I think yellow/black might look good but until I have seen it dark Silver gets my vote ![]() S for Smiffy "Kids in the front seat cause accidents, accidents in the backseat cause kids!" |

Offline | Interesting that: a) Chili Red gets a low vote - The most popular MINI colour in other non-S polls b) "Boring but exclusive" DS streaks ahead with S-lovers Could this mean some of us are denying the boy-racer within? ![]() (...That bonnet scoop too big for you?) Or, could it mean we are just looking to say, 'This is a Cooper *S*, mate. *I* *am* *not* just a fashion-victim!' Offline | Yellow S "With all eyes on the MINI Cooper's launch, BMW engineers obviously thought it was safe to wheel out an undisguised edition of the forthcoming flagship Cooper S. How wrong they were! Caught on test by our snappers and revealed in the current issue of Auto Express magazine, the yellow supercharged model is virtually showroom-ready............." The above was plagerised from the Autoexpress web site.......has anyone actually seen these pictures.....Yellow "S"..... I'd like to see that! |

Offline | It's all so confusing.....BMW call the same wheel a different name in different markets.......geezzzz.....anyway, they look good coz they've got no centre caps.....did I mention this before......probably did......I'm a nuts man, like to see the nuts.....know what I mean.......like showing how things are fixed rather than cover them up.... MINI does it inside, why not outside! |

Offline | Yeah, I like to be able to see my nuts too (oo-er missus!), but then again...maybe it's me that's nuts, for pining and daydreaming about owning a car I aint even seen in the flesh yet! Andy Last edited by An_S_4_Me : Dec 18th, 2001 at 05:19 AM. |

Offline | Erm, I might be stating the obvious (although it's only just occurred to me), but the choice of alloy or white-coloured (available as no-cost option, apparently) wheels makes a big difference to how the car looks. Silver with white wheels = silly, silver with alloy = fine, for example Ordered my "S" August '01. Arrived July '02. EB with white roof, wheels and stripes, Chili pack, DSC and climate control. Hate those 17" runflats though. Can now be seen all over the West Midlands, as a blue blur passing everything at speed |
