Pictures from the New York Auto Show (JCW Cooper S)

Pictures taken this afternoon, enjoy!

and some other sightings at the attractive MINI display

MINI timeline

The show is quite spectacular this year with a lot of interesting cars overall, definitely worth a visit.

Cheers.

Thumbs up

thanks for posting! i don't think i'll be able to get the auto show this year. it was the first time i fell in love with the MINI..the show in 2001..the MINI showcase wasn't even in the showroom...it was right by the concession stands and only 2 cars!

mia, I very much remember that display back in '01 with the Coopers one in Indi blue w/white fitted with 17" s-spokes and a Red w/white. It was my first time seeing them in the states.

Great shots, KarmanS! Looks like I'll be stopping in soon. Those photos are making the Javits look a bit vacant.

Thanks for the comments. No human traffic in an auto show is a great thing! I was lucky to obtain early access to the show, it officially starts tomorrow.

I like the JCW wheels. Must be an option. Everytime I see JCW S I want it more and more. It would really be a nice toy. Where is the Auto show held in New York City? and when?

I picked up a pamphlet for the JCW S. It states that the MSRP is $4500 plus installation. And in a small font underneath it reads Price is exhange pricing and requires the return of the original cylinder head and supercharger

WOW! It's official then. Goodbye all parts and hello new? Does that pay for the supercharger, head, exhaust, and logo? Or does it include the wheels and seats, too?

- oh - any shots of the interior? Love to see another shot of the WORKS seats.

Why doesn't MINI want to buy my old wheels, silencers, seats and logos? Is that in the fineprint on the brochure too?

Funny intro price, MINIUSA.

Didn't take any shots of the interior as it looks to be stock within. According to the pamphlet, the seats and wheels do not seem to be part of the package as it is not stated anywhere on it. What's included in the kit is the JCW cylinder head, exhaust system, engine calibration, supercharger, chrome enamel badging and the engine bay plate with unique car number, and of course the warranty of your original MCS.

Thanks, KarmanS. Knew I could find that info somewhere on MINI2... But you had the PAMPHLET!

Cheers!
