As the subject line says, I was wondering if people could post some fairly close pics of their MCS with the factory aero package. I'm wondering if it's worth the extra $1999 CDN.

I guess what I'm trying to determine is if it'll turn my car into a ricer. Subtlety is the key here...

I don't think it'll turn your car into a ricer, it is definitly not that much of a dramatic change, but it does look nice.

IMO, it is not worth the $$$, but I guess everyone is free to think what they want.

I agree with MiniMan7, the aero kit is a little pricey. But it definitely won't turn your car into a ricer. It basically just gives the MINI a more agressive, racier look.
Personally, I think the package adds a lot to the MCS and will be getting it added on to mine as soon as I find the money.
I tried to throw a pic on here for you too, but couldn't get it to work, sorry. But you can find pics all over the web. Check out miniusa.com for some good ones.

Yeah, thanks. When I have more time I'll go through the various galleries more in-depth. But I definitely think it's tasteful. Lovin' it, that's for sure!

If you want to see a mini with an aero kit there is a red MCS with black roof and black Bonnet stripe in the window of Mini Downtown on King St.

No1 mentioned its $1999 for the parts only... Has any1 in canada gotten the aerokit installed??
Or any1 know how much the total cost would be (kit + paint + install)??

Aero kit side and back view. Changed wheels and tires to 16" Enkei MM2's with Pirelli 7000 SP sports.

I paid 19200 SEK, thats 2472 USD or 3280 CAD. Not inkluding the white taillights...

USA $1200 parts, $1200 labor. All 3 cars in "The Italian Job" have aero kits. Really improves the look of the standard Cooper.

The sense I'm getting is that the aero package is dealer-installed? So even if we tick off the box online, it's not actually tacked on in England?

Oh boy, another cost to factor in...

In Canada I paid $3,300 installed and arches painted. Makes a difference...
