Offline | misting up - vents I have a 2003 'S' and find that the windows mist up annoyingly when you switch off the air con. and allow the natural air temp through. It only then de-mists when you stick the AC back on and freeze to death! Any comments anyone? Cheers. |

Offline | air conditioning is a very effective way to remove humidity ( a useful feature in Scotland) - as suggested use the temp control to get comfortable aka KWKSLVR Member: Southern Ontario MINI Club BMW Club of Canada - Trillium Chapter |

Online | I'm in Scotland too and don't have aircon. My windows don't have a tendancy to mist up (even in winter) and hardly ever need to direct warm air to the screen. Is it poss that the aircon releases vapour back into the car when turned off? If your car has ever been wet inside it can take a very long time to get rid of all the moisture. One more thing, is the re-circulate function on or off when this you use the AC? Should get off generally. Red/Black R56 Cooper |
