Offline | Aiden, if you get a creaky dash, you might have over tightened some of the torx screws (maybe the side ones). Just a thought. Not that I'd do such a thing of course. ![]() |

| on a three hour tour | Should be ready for me next Wednesday or Thursday, and I'll pick it up on Saturday. MA wouldn't schedule an appointment because she said, "They don't always make it here unscathed, and sometimes we have to repaint something." At which time I nearly pulled an Aiden and told her I don't want it. But I figured I'd at least find out if it's damaged before I do that. Not the best of experiences from a dealer. I've given them plenty of opportunities, but they don't seem particularly interested in making me a happy customer. So far all I have to show for it is, well, nothing. Not even a discount on R90s or a trade-in for my S-Lites (but now I have the IJ R90s on the way... ). All this despite the fact that they screwed up my order and it only got fixed because I called them about 10 times and didn't believe them when they kept telling me it would be okay--until they realized that the reason they couldn't find my order was because they hadn't placed it. It'll all be okay next weekend when I have my MINI, though. ![]() ![]() ![]() |

| Person, mostly | Jersey Girl's dash is what started me thinking about it in the first place. Totally sexy look (The car, in case Gail asks). What ever happened to her? I haven't seen a posting in ages, but then maybe I'm just in all the wrong places. I know it could be done, but I don't much fancy pulling my whole dash and not having a car until it's done and back in. I suppose it might vary well be driveable without a dash, but... ![]() Maybe if I could ome up with a used dash assembly for not too much money, have that painted and then swap them out. ![]() |
