Offline | cooper s for cooper Aiden, Suggest you do the upgrade, seems a good price - similar to what I got - although my cooper was 7 months old. What ever you do - get DSC - the recent snow, ice and frost has shown it to invaluable... I met someone yesterday who had a brand new Black Cooper S (with check roof in white) - looked fantastic - if I had my time again - I'd go black - DS/W or DS/B is somewhat boring now. Red is always great. EB has sneaked up on me - so I actually like it now. Anyway, the lady I met with the one week old Blk CooperS - had it booked in at Birds for the hartge conversion this weekend.... and she knew nothing of MINI2.com!! She was a bit of a rather senior Exec with a well known Global IT outfit (one associated with the colour blue). Said she had got insetead of updating her 3 yr/old BMW M3... so I assume the rental/lease fee would come in WHEY below her car allowance - does this make you sick... ??!! Sounds like the Chiltern run was a huge success, the photo's look superb. Worgy I've got the dammn thing, I love it and it's a right little stonker... Due date: 5 th Sept 2002 MINI Cooper S DS/Blk,17",DSC + Chilli 1/2 Leather + Satalite cloth Lapis Blue, Head Air bags, Xenon lights, Trip Computer, CD player, First aid kit & triangle !! |

Offline | It might well be - I get confused with the TLA's (working in IT it tends to be an ocupational hazard)... if ASC+T - does the same as DSC then yes - when I get wheel spin or loss of traction the little yellow light goes mad and power is cut (which can be anoying in dry conditions !!).. All I know is it does two things a) warns you that the road surface is not friendly - hence be careful and b) has saved me at least one from spilling off the road altogether.. I thought DSC is the same as ASC+T but more ?? I'd be keen to hear the correct definition.... Heated seats ??? NO !! this is for Saabs and Merc's and old business men who worry about farmer giles/nobby stiles. Worgy I've got the dammn thing, I love it and it's a right little stonker... Offline | Bored of the usual colour combo's? EB/B is quite a rare beast (none at the Chiltern run). My wife's motor is EB/B, and I think I like it more than my own (DS/B)...... It was interesting to see just how many DS/B there are around, and how many have had the Hatge conversions... wonder if there are some facts available from Birds about colours and conversions... Just don't choose metalic green.... ooops, sorry, British Racing Green. oh dear, like a red flag to a bull. Stand back. ![]() |

Offline | Must have Bonnet Stripes Here's what I've ordered, but without the spots. Definitely better with Bonnet Stripes. ![]() ![]() Hyper Blue/Blue MCSC with Chilli 'No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself' A. Carnegie |

Offline | I would just like to say I now hate you all. I was all settled on my spec but after reading this damn thread I'm not so sure. Original Spec - Cooper S, Solid Black, Black Roof, tinted windows. Chilli Pack, Single CD and boost, Heated jets/mirrors, visibility pack. Since reading on here I am thinking of adding the MFSW, head airbags, white lights and silver bonnet stripes. However I now quite like EB/B and I have the chance of a DS/B demo (500miles on clock) and almost the exact spec I was going for. Also DS was my original colour choice (but decided it was a bit too common on the S) Help!!! |

Offline | Was meant to be 25th April according to my quote sheet. But they mentioned some other date now. Still waiting for a copy of my order form to be sent to me. Hyper Blue/Blue MCSC with Chilli 'No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself' A. Carnegie |
