I think in a year or two thing will drop, possibly by a fair bit, but I'm sure they will, long term, keep going up. Just not sure HOW long term!

Must add also, we've found it really hard to find a lender for the mortgage. Not least because it's timber framed and clad in something other than brick!

You can get a mortgage on a Grade II listed Elizabethan pile which is wood framed filled with mud, straw and horse hair topped with a thatched roof though and several hundred years old to boot , but not a modern ecologically sound home built to the highest standards , very odd place this world we live in

Yep, on the market we found only three potential lenders. Bizarre.

He's a bum basically who makes a good living by doing off the wall things.

He recently made a film (and wrote a book) about traveling across the USA in a beat up car and not using "corporate" hotels, eateries and gas stations. Fascinating stuff and a bit of what he did appealed to my nature. He does other crazy stuff like that and makes a living, I just wish I had the courage to give up the day job to do similar things

Nice, the GTI30 look really good in the basic colours, red is stunning too
I honestly don't think you can go wrong with one of those

MPG should be good too, I'm getting over 30mpg for the TT and that's town driving

Had a good drive in that one today.. good drive and looks great in the flesh. Quick enough too, but not much fun really

What about a factory JCW?

Groovily thanks very much.
