I've got some stone victorian lintels if you need them We took 2 out of 3 out of the fireplace in the kitchen, quite heavy but nice looking

The new Works looks good, but I think it's a bad move to delay the Clubman because of the aero kit. Why not just repeat their "Pepperoni Pack" they did with the S when they ran out of wheels (it was the 17" wheels wasn't it?!) and just offer it at a reduced price until they get the body kits.

that would be a fantastic idea...there are some who would prefer it without the aerokit anyway...

I think I'll be stuck with the mini hi-fi upgrade still can't quite decide about Satnav though... without it my spec will come out at around £24.5k which is quite good tbh

just the track info...

Not so much the speedo but the layout of the radio controls and the centre stack if the nav is not specced.

If you don't mind fiddly, non-sensical controls then you don't need it.

House speccin' stuff again I'm afraid.

Anyone here have experience of using (or someone else who has used) interior wall decals/stickers?

I'm having lots of silly ideas for our new place (assuming we get a damned mortgage!!) and these could figure heavily!

Aaah, cool. Didn't even know Ikea did them, I was looking all over then I though "I could do that..." always a dangerous thought.

Pics would be nice, and some opinions on peeling and such if they'd be so kind. Just don't have too many fizzy pops or you'll forget all about it.

Quick Cooper S related post (shock, horror), we've had a Cooper S Clubman living with us for a week since last Tuesday. So far it's been a mixed experience, one thing that threw me completely was how to get intermittent wipers! It's pretty decent though, will post up more thoughts and photos later obviously.

Next week it's a Clubman Cooper D.

Which will be nice, as I'm averaging just over 31 mpg in this S.

Actually I've not been too aggressive with it, thought I'd average better than this.

It is fun though.

When the kids aren't strapped in anyway.

That's the trouble with MK if you don't want to drive around at a snails pace it's a lot of fast slow fast slow. It's what makes it amusing and fast to get around, but not good for the MPG.

The stop-start also seems to kick in very early, I thought it would take a while to get the car up to speed (and temp), but it seems to be ready for my first stop on just about every journey.
