Offline | TBH there isn't much to add on the configurator, nothing that will really make it look any different to a normal MCS IMO ![]() The things that are most important to me to change from the R56 MCS is the suspension, and then the seats, so they know they'll be getting nearly 25k if I ordered one ![]() The only problem I have is knowing which one to drive? ![]() |

Offline | Had a quick play on the configurator last night. Have to say an all DS looks ![]() Well, the Meriva has been on Autorader for 1 week now, and no bites whatsoever. I've priced it to be the cheapest car within 20 miles, and based on engine size / spec, it's the 3rd cheapest in the country. I suspect price has nothing to do with why it's not selling , just the market is on it's a*se.So based on that I''m now looking at taking a hit, and trading it in. I have my eye on 3 MCS's, and will be doing a "world tour" of northern England on Friday to get some firm "cost to change" values from two dealers. Can't say I'm hopeful, but then you never know! |

Offline | Has anyone ever had to send a copy of a driving licence/passport to buy something off line to prove who you say you are? I had somewhere today request this so I told them that I was taking my business elsewhere, ![]() |

| Trained Monkey | Getting there. I think they've worked out how to keep the water on the right side of the windows/walls now at least?! Decor is a challenge, slowly building the place up, glad we didn't decide on even simple things like flooring as we've changed our minds loads of times and still not sure even now. On the VERY positive side I got the pinball up and running at the weekend, so I can happily waste time doing that instead of unpacking, moving, packing.... Will have to get around to taking some snaps soon. ![]() |

Offline | Had a drive in the new John Cooper Works last night - very impressed ![]() Those new brakes on the front end are razor sharp, and wonderfully progressive. The power is plentiful (as you'd expect), and with the windows down listening to the exhaust note it sounds fantastic too. Windows up though its very quiet inside - which I quite like. It doesn't pop on the overrun, it bangs ![]() Vines (G'ford) have a nicely specc'd demo.... Pepper White/Black with Black stripes. Chili pack, full punch leather, works steering wheel, strut brace, carbon scoop, spots..... looks the dogs ![]() Had <100 miles on though, so wasn't allowed to give it the full moo, save that for another day ![]() ![]() |
