so maybe the weight isn't the deciding factor, but surely the grip and ride might be better on the non Run flats?

Rakey the ride is definetely more compliant with the non RFs as the less stiff sidewalls make a better ride. Additionally the rubber that performance (non RFs) have is superior to the RFs. In other words non RFs are stickier and provide better ride. The one they also have is potential punctures. They are quite rare but you never know. Balance the pros and cons and you choose what suits you better.

you are good at this spec'in and mod'in, now all you need to do is pick me a tyre, I like corners, budget is important (but not over safety/grip), wear is important as I do about 400 miles a week at the moment.

Seems no-one is fighting in the corner for the Runflats

Thanks Rakey.

I chose Run Flats for myself already!!! Greece is really bumpy....

For you I do believe that Goodyear Eagle F1 GSD.. are great.

For top performance go for Pirelli P Zero Rosso Assymetricos (more expensive)

Toyo Proxies are good but they do not last that much.

Dunlop SP9000 are not expensive and a good tyre as well (could be 9 series can't remember exact model).

If I were you, and have decided not to go for RFs, I would choose the Goodyears.

Hope I helped a bit and not confused you.

No problem my friend Glad to be of help

Good luck with the prices cause the ones you are looking apart from being top performers are on the high points of the price spectrum!!!
