| MINI2 Regular | Today my baby was injured by an imbecile (did not find out who is but he/she must be an idiot). I was parked on the left side of the road and someone hit my right door and scatched it quite a lot. The colour is off on 2 spots and the scratch is deep at some points so it cannot be fixed with just paint. That idiot is gone and cannot find out who is so I have to fix it myself. So there is 2 options IMO. Either I change the door or fix the one that is on. Any opinions? Cost predictions? I was only parked there for 10 minutes (I was at the doctors for my eyes check).... Only got the car for 2 weeks... I am quite angry and sad at the moment ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Thanks Bert but apart from painting it definetely need straightenig the iron of the door. The PS colour I heard is difficult to be matched (I might be wrong), but I dont want to paint the door and the colour not to match the rest of the car's paint. Bert are you working at Motion? If so I could pay a visit to you. ![]() |

Offline | ela vre atixe no I'am not working there.A friend of mine does. I don't know if m'n's has a good or body shop at the moment but in a few months will have a great unit of service and paint, but if you find someone good near you, you won't have any matching problem.I' m not sure but if you order a new door your dealer will get it unpainted and he' ll paint it (I'm 90% sure) |

Offline | So sorry to hear about the damage Thanos ![]() As your car is new matching the paint shouldn't really be a problem. Take it to an authorised BMW repair shop though. That way your paint/corrosion warranty will remain. MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime ![]() ![]() Unofficial MINI2.com bean counter |

| MINI2 Regular | No pain sham just some discomfort the first days. Need to put my eyedrops as instructed regularly, and take good care of the eye area (no water or especially rubbing). I totally suggest you go for it as I already can see very clearly and in detail ![]() Needs a week or so till the foggy feeling goes away. The method I followed is "lasik". |

Offline | Thanos I think Lasik is the most popular one here. Its just a bit of a pain getting prescription sunglasses - people who don't know wonder why you still wear them indoors! Time to spec which laser treatment ![]() 170508 ![]() |

| MINI2 Regular | Guys the result is amazing!!! No more glasses/prescription sunglasses or contact lenses. The most amazing will be in the summer when I will be able to jump in and out of the sea (a lot here in Greece) without worrying about glasses or contacts... Great free feeling! ![]() Go for it my friends! (less than 24 hours and I CAN SEE)! Amazing! ![]() PS: It balances out all my sad feeling on my MCS' damage. ![]() |

Offline | My sister-in-law has had her eyes done and she swears by it ![]() She had the one where they "reshape" your lens rather then putting the scores in. Not sure it's for me though... on one hand it would be nice to see properly without needing glass, but on the other hand why have surgery for what is basically costmetic work ![]() Oh and she said you need to get a pyche consult first before they decide to do the op ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those.............
