Offline | Wheel tyre update My dealer have just spoken to the factory and they blatantly refuse to put white x-lites on there ![]() So my dealer will order them in and install them for me and they'll lose £100 as the x-lite set is actually £1200 compared to £1100 for the s-spokes However there has been a development on the wheel front... My dealer has a cancelled order of these one piece R90s which he'll let me have ![]() ![]() If they look as good as this I'm going to get them, but I'm not too sure as they're 16s and in this picture they look like 17s ![]() I'm going to look at them at lunchtime ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. Offline | wtf? x-lites cost more than the s-spokes, even though they are smaller and come free with the Cooper S? Hyper Blue/Blue MCSC with Chilli 'No man will make a great leader who wants to do it all himself' A. Carnegie |

Offline | martin.. take those wheels off your dealers hands, give them to me, then pursue the wheels that you actually want, simple! congrats on the car by the way, not sure about the whole spec but i like the colour options and white x-lites, very fetching! i'll have to make a special trip to take a look in september! ![]() |

Offline | Re: Re: Wheel tyre update Yup, but I'm curious if the 16's really do look this good. The picture are both one piece as there are no bolts on the rims. I'm really curious about the x-lite price and I think it's the dealers way of trying to get rid of these R90s. If I don't want them they'll have these and my s-spokes to get rid of ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime ![]() ![]() Unofficial MINI2.com bean counter |

Offline | you'll probably get a better ride out of the 16's.. what makes you want 17's? is it the look? i think you should just wait til you go down there martin, and hopefully you can see both in the flesh so to speak. i prefer the style of the x-lites on the sig you got there.. |

Offline | I don't want 17s Mark, that's the problem as you can't get 16s with the chilli pack ![]() I want 16s, and was set on white x-lites until they ran the R90 offer by me. They are 16s too. This wheel thing is replacing the colour dilema I had with my current car ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime ![]() ![]() Unofficial MINI2.com bean counter |

Offline | i think you're right not to go s-spokes washy, too many people have them, and the weight is a bit silly! x-lites i reckon, and R90's as second choice ![]() if wheel ordering and changing isnt part of the factorys procedure they just wont do it, push the dealer.. |

Offline | martin i think the original choice of white x-lites looks great! the dealer obviously wants to make the R90s as attratcive as possible to you because they need to get rid of them. if they make an offer so good that you just cant refuse then fair enough, but you should really try to stick with what you liked in the first place, you'll be happier because of it i think ![]() |

Offline | You're right Mark and my gut feeling is to go for the white x-lites. I was just so excited when he muttered the words "R90". Damn those wheel do look good though ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime ![]() ![]() Unofficial MINI2.com bean counter |

Offline | About £125 each i think, plus fitting and balancing ![]() I reckon a set will cost about £900. You can always ask our resident dealer for the total cost ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime ![]() ![]() Unofficial MINI2.com bean counter |
