The stuff that could be awkward I've got a good few weeks to change the colour and specification I doubt I'll change my mind though  I might add full leather and heated seats though  MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. Offline  | I already said congrats Martin...... You know me, Mr. Nice ! I had a chat with my dealer today about changing for year end - hes offered me €19,000.00 for my car which cost me €24,500.00 new, plus the S spokes and Aero spoiler - still, not bad for almost 2 years old as it will be by the calendar ! R90s, quoted me €456.00 each plus 21% VAT ! Yikes !! Didn't want to trade in my new S spokes either....  4 months delivery, means Ill be thinking of September order date..... Side skirts are €256.00 each plus painting, I thought they came painted already?? Thats not a bad deal I think, €5,500.00 depreciation for 2 years..... BMW / MINI Ireland are being amalgamated with BMW UK in October, so there will be some confusion in the delivery and ordering system over here, seems TLC and the UK warranty conditions will most likely be introduced here then, so it may be another plus point for me waiting, also I can take advantage of any 2004 model changes ! Offline | TBH I would see how much the cost to change is. It really does make sense My car will be 1 yr old and have 12k on the clock and it's only costing me £2000 or there abouts to change. Offline | I'm actually surprised by it......we only have 8 MINI dealers in Ireland, and they are TIGHT with trade in values ! I'll be happy to do a deal at €19k for my own alright, I thought I could be offered as low as €17k, so pleasantly surprised...... I've lost the dosh I spent on the S spokes and Aero spoiler of course, but I suppose that was to be expected ! Global Moderator |
