| seventh heaven? | BMW always seem slow to put stuff in their cars...the M3 has a DVD for the nav but they still give you a CD rom and whilst the widescreen monitor in thr car looks cool the menus are a pain to navigate...I'll have a dig round...plus I'll have a listen to w's demo (I think it has HK) as long as Paul has finished with it ![]() ![]() Black to the future.... |

Offline | BMW HK is sh*te Washy - I had the 11 speaker version which includes a sub. I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the MINI HK. Don't listen to a bloke who reckons the Volvo factory system is good. If you really want to compare them properly have all settings on flat and turn the volume up. 260909 ![]() |

Offline | Maybe I should clean my ears out and go and listen again ![]() I must be missing something ![]() The HK in my Beemer was far superior to the MINI one and that's saying something as that was only just adequate. Maybe it's because you had more flexiblity in the settings that you could utilise the system as best as you could whereas the MINI system your limited to the pre-sets ![]() It isn't stopping me getting it though ![]() MINI, RX8 and MX5 - Done those............. It's now TTime ![]() ![]() Unofficial MINI2.com bean counter |

Offline | yes all that weird REM stuff has frequencies that have successfully dislodged some wax in your ears, thus blocking them .What settings did you have on the Beemer HK? I thought it was just bass, treble, balance and fader (oh plus the loudness button). DSP with BMW professional added the effects didn't it? 260909 ![]() |
