I can see where the kudos idea comes from (project gotham aside). I wouldn't buy a scooby, but they're supposedly a fantastic drive. I wouldn't buy a boxster, but they're cheap 911's, nothing essentially wrong with that!

And then what did I do? find the quick version of the hatchback with very low street cred

really is each to their own eh?!?

Black eyed Purple....with a few clouds in the way. And, there is Paul (minisoopercooper) showing up in the rim. Allright, the darker bits are the BEP, but I still think it is a great pic.

Okay, on first glance you might see blue. But, when the sun shines on it - it's purple. The clouds were glorious the day I took this pic. Playing games with the colours. Sowwy.

Very nice. I had seen a picture or two that looked a bit too ummm... purpley, but I usually like paint that has multiple personalities. I still want to see more pics of it though.

Love the clouds in the paint in the first shot.

So did you really like it in person? Next MINI? Or just another nice color, but not earthshaking?

I keep thinking about Velvet Red (which I thought was nice even though it can look like just plain brown in the wrong light), and Silk Green (which I liked alot, even though it seemed more like a VW Bug color at the time). It seems like what the TV people do with new shows... just about the time they are getting broken in and viewers are getting comfortable with them they get yanked and replaced with something else. Hmmmm. I guess I'm looking for more of that tradition stuff that can only come with time. Hence the BRG

I liked the VR/Black. It looked like the Queen's MINI. Downsized from the Royal Train.

Loved the SG, but it was long gone by the time I started speccing Ollie I. Love the LY/B, but will be getting the IB/W next... it was the first color that grabbed me. For tradition's sake, CR/W would be my second choice, except it's like waving a red flag in front of a cop.

I've got enough trouble with tickets as it is.

got a great response back from the person that sold me my bonnet stripes

Got offered a full refund, and a set of stick on stripes for free.

But then explained my car, the idea of getting a set signed by a certain celeb, so now have a few more fitting tips for them, and get this TWO new free sets to replace the one that flew off. One set is to get signed and use for shows, the others are everyday stripes, oh and she loved my car!!

Now that is what I call customer service, hopefully these should stay on this time
