I would try the Chili/beige combo. I don't think the EB would look right - too bright. IB with beige would look better.

What would be beige? The seats...carpet...what color does the rest of the interior turn? Would beige look right with the rest? (like the steering wheel, doors, dash...etc.)

I'd keep that in mind when choosing interior color. Mine is black leather and it looks great inside. It flows nicely...

It's down to personal preference really...But, I think Electric Blue and Beige would go pretty well...I've seen some pictures of a couple M5s with Le Mans blue exterior and Caramel interior and looks very 'exclusive' and it'll be sure to be a rare color combo. Go for it!

Chilli Red and Beige wouldn't go to well, although similar colours on a Ferrari are faultless. Electric Blue over Beige, get's my thumbs up.

How are you getting the "Beige" Leather Seats and Interior? I did not see where it is an Option and We have a Green car and they threatened to cancel the warranty if we had the seats recovered (The Air Bag I guess)

The Cordoba beige leather was just announced for the 2004 MCS. It was available in the Cooper in '03. I ordered a 2003 BRG MCS and wanted the beige but couldn't get it. I opted for black leather. When the '04 announcement came out, I called the dealer (Moritz Mini in ARlington, TX) and asked if I could postpone the order and get an '04.

Called me back the next day and said I could do it. Now, I get a 09/05/03 build date and have production number already. We also get the power port in the boot as an added bonus - not to mention it will be a first run 2004 versus a last run 2003!

I'd go the black in the EB.

I think EB and Cordoba beige would look well good. The Cordobe Beige is the only way to go with the interior. Looks a thousand times better than any other colour, EB looks well good too and I think the colours go nicely. You can't get sport seats in the beige though but who cares when your car looks that good

EB & Beige is subjective to each taste.
If you like it then go for it.

CR & Beige is the acceptable combination.

Wait a minute!! I thought the "S" only came with "Sport" Seats?? We raised more Hell than you can believe beacuse the Cooper had more options that the "Up-Scale" "S"! and you could only get Black (Limited Blue) in the "S"!

This is an "S" That you are buying and does it have sport seats ? And are they in Beige?

Sounds like you're more concerned with having a beige interior that what the color of the exterior is. Maybe I've owned too many cars with beige/saddle interior, but beige would be one of the last choices for me. To me, my Lapis Blue leather really pops in the Electric Blue and the red leather inserts in another post on this site looks great to me in the chilli red.

EB and Beige sounds great, we've got an eclipse with beige leather, and it looks very nice. Keep in mind though that beige gets uglier faster than the darker colors.

I must admit I didn't like the idea of blue leather but when I saw it on my Cooper S test drive I was well impressed. It did look really good. Great quality of leather and the car had done 3,000 miles, I thought it was brand new - still smelt new. Never-the-less the beige is the only way to go. Looks so much better but what I wanna know is why do most Cooper S owners say its about time they got Beige leather as an option, but don't want Electric Blue to be available on the Cooper or one ?

cos we are paying a premium to have the top of the range car..which deserves to have something unique to them and also as you are spending vastly more than a one...should have as many choices as possible and hence the choice of anything off the lesser models!

Ive got a Lotus Elise in the showroom at the moment. Its Atlantic Blue (similar to IB) and has buscuit hide and carpets. It looks really good, just make sure you dont have dirty feet when getting inside

If you have a dark exterior colour go for a contrasting interior or if you have a light exterior colour.............you get the message

I would love it if they didn't give you Cooper S owners the Beige coz it would drive you crazy .

that you can't get something the other cars can (that doesn't apply to all Cooper S owners). Surely the Cooper and the one deserve to have something unique about them if you do, no ? I wouldn't say to a MINI one owner they shouldn't be able to get an extra that the Cooper can get because they have a "lesser model". But then maybe there are not enough people like me about that would share the love
