United-Kingdom Magnecor Leads

I am thinking of buying some Magnecor leads for my MCS and was wondering what people think of these?

Also what size do I need? 8.5mm??

Thanks

Try searching the forums for magnecor, it's been discussed quite a few times before, might find something useful.

OK....

For MINI Cooper S (from Magnecor to me via email)

> 7mm, black, Electrosports 70 cable set (part no. 47376) are £43.11
> 8mm, blue, Electrosports 80 cable set (part no. 40376) are £43.53
> 8.5mm, red, KV85 Competition cable set (part no. 45376) are £48.05 -
> requested
> The above prices do not include postage costs or VAT.
> Approx. postage 1st rec. would be £4.50-£5.50.

I was considering ordering the 8.5mm, red, KV85 Competition cable set (part no. 45376)

IMHO I think they are rubbish I have used them on my other cars and they arc through the insulation they also degraded quite quickly as well. I would say stay with std leads as these are well up to the job. TO be honest you don't really need to start looking at the ignition side of things until you are having a lot of engine tuning done.

its all about the GG (or in this case the uhhh SCREW)

NO probs maty by all means give them a go but I think they will cause a few problems. I must admit every car I get in with them on I end up putting a new set of std leads on more consistant spark.
