Hi I thought Id just say that Ive had nothing go wrong with either my Cooper which I got last year and traded for my Cooper S I have now. Just to say that not all Minis have something go wrong with them but its good to know what problems people have had as well.

I'm pleased yours is ok.... I wish I could say the same, but saying that I dont love it any less than if it was perfect !

What about your problems with speeding tickets in Skipton ???

Yes Ill be there on the 7th . im doing a speed awareness course on the 16th sept instead of 3 points and £60 fine . Course cost £75 but no points on my licence !!!!!

Picked up my July 2003 build MCS on Friday and also have no problems(so far) whatsoever. No stumble, lurch, yo-yo, rattles, or cold start problem. The car is a blast. Hope it stays that way!

Well , in the letter they sent me asking who was driving , there is guidelines about the appeal system and happens etc. In it it says that a speed awareness course can be offered instead of a fine and 3 points , only if you are caught doing 35 in a 30 .Funnily enough the speed I was doing was...........................................35 in a 30 ..................a bit coinsidental if you ask me cause I was behind a Sunday driver in a Metro when I got done and im positive i wasnt doing 35 .

A friend of mine span off on the motorway and she got a choice of going to court for undue care and attention or a 2 day driving course costing £140 and she was actually considering going to court !!!! Cos a friend of hers said it will only be 3 points and £60 fine...............I dont think so . Anyway she saw sense and did the course !

Mines beem fantastic so far no complaints,

Did have a little scare yesterday when opening the pasenger door and the window wasnt going down properly and therefore the glass was catching on the seal, seems to be fine today i blame it on the heat not my "s"..

The laws there are brutal! Over here, Cal USA, you have to stay clean for ONLY 18 months to get "drivers school" instead of points & fines.

Anyway... My car is perfect too, after swaping the infamous water bottle...
