Just wanted to say a quick hello, I'm a lurker from another car forum, but when I had a little blat today with a cooper s, I just had to post.

Hello to the 2 guys in Hatfield, oh my god your car is fast, and it's nice to see someone actually reply to a thumbs up.

What an adrenalin rush!! Only got my car 4 weeks ago today and I'm still getting used to it.

I drove the Cooper when they first came out. I was so impressed, I really didn't want to like it. I saw the first press pics I hated it, but then when I drove it, well that changed my mind and I actually quite like them now.

One of my friends is picking her Cooper S up on the 1st Sept, I will tell her about the site.

Anyway enough of my bad english verbal, great car, great website well impressed.

maybe might see you on my travels sometime, i am in enfield not too far from you, look out for dark silver MCS with Hartge badge, oh and don't try to overtake as you may get a big surprise !

Does that meen you have had the conversion?
Almost the same BHP as my car then?

BHP at 212, 0-100 15.9 sces, 145 top end.

Thats why i went for the conversion !

Animal, I'd be interested to hear where you got the )-100 and particularly the top end figure from? Do you have a source? Regs..

the figs are from Birds ( Hartge ), don't know if they are accurate or not ?

Wow animal what a beast!!!!

Think I will have to buy some upgrades for mine then soon.

Should be able to get 280bhp without much hassle and money from what I've read.

Take care and I will flash you if I see you. Obviously with my lights nothing else.

Looks like you have the Seat Leon ......?

Nice car, did you see the series racing on saturday, very close racing , shame most of the drivers were rubbish, loads got stacked - very entertaining !

I've watched the racing live from the tracks, Outlon Park, Rockingham and this weekend just gone Thruxton.
Fantastic days out, makes me want to get into motorsport even more now.
I'm going to watch the final showdown at Brands at the end of Sept to see who wins 100k.
Should be a great day, you should go?
